PDF Workflow
1. Add one PDF
Choose the document you want to process. The workflow runs on your device, so the original is not uploaded.
2. Choose the steps
Select compression, page numbering, or both. When both are selected, compression runs first and numbering is applied to the resulting PDF.
3. Set the step options
Choose a compression level and, when numbering pages, the first number to use.
4. Run and download
Press Run Workflow and wait for each step to finish. Download the single final PDF and check it before sharing.

Compress PDF
1. Drop in your PDF
Drag the file onto the page, or tap the drop area to pick it from your device. One file at a time, up to 50 MB.
2. Pick a compression level
Strong gives the smallest file, Recommended balances size against readability, and Basic keeps quality very close to the original. Most scans are best on Recommended.
3. Compress and wait
Press Compress PDF. The work runs in this tab, so a large file can take a moment. The progress bar fills as each page is processed.
4. Download the smaller copy
Check the size shown against your original, then download. If the text now looks soft or the photos look banded, go up one level and compress again.

Compress PDF to Exact Size
1. Drop in the PDF you need to shrink
One file at a time, up to 50 MB. If it is already smaller than your target, you get it straight back unchanged — compressing it would only make it bigger.
2. Choose a target size
Pick 100 KB, 200 KB, 500 KB or 1 MB, or type your own such as 250 KB. These are the limits that upload forms and mail servers actually enforce.
3. Pick how hard to work at it
Low will work hardest to hit a small target and may soften the text. High gives up rather than pushing a page below the point where it stays readable.
4. Download the result
The screen shows the real measured sizes and whether the target was met. If it says it could not reach the target, the file you get is the smallest legible one we could make, with its actual size stated.

Merge PDF
1. Add two or more files
Drop in your first PDF, then add the rest. They appear in a list where you can see the order they will be joined in.
2. Put them in the right order
Use the move controls on each row to push a file up or down. Page count is shown next to every name so you can check nothing is missing.
3. Merge the documents
Press Merge PDF. The pages are copied into one file in the order shown, keeping each page's original size and orientation.
4. Save the combined PDF
Download the result and open it once to confirm every page is where you expect before you send it on.

Split PDF
1. Choose your PDF
Drop in the document you want to break up. You can select a single page or a continuous range such as 3-7.
2. Set the range
Type the first and last page numbers, or tick pages in the preview if you only need a few scattered ones. The page count updates as you choose.
3. Split the file
Press Split PDF. The selected pages are copied into a new document and everything else is left behind.
4. Download the new file
Your original stays exactly as it was. Save the extracted copy and keep the source if you may need the other pages later.

Convert
PDF to JPG
1. Load your PDF
Drop in the document. Every page is rendered at the quality you pick below, so a long file takes a moment to prepare.
2. Choose pages and quality
Tick the pages you need, or select all. Quality controls both the image resolution and the file size — higher is sharper but heavier.
3. Convert to images
Press Convert to JPG. Each selected page becomes a separate image file.
4. Save your images
Download them one at a time. If you need them in a single PDF instead, JPG to PDF does the reverse in one pass.
- Open tool
Convert
JPG to PDF
1. Add your images
Drop in JPG, PNG or WebP files, or pick them from your device. Add as many as the job needs.
2. Order them
Drag or use the move controls to get the sequence right. This is the page order in the finished PDF, so it is worth checking.
3. Pick a page size
Choose A4, US Letter or Match image. Match image sizes each page to its own picture, which suits photo albums better than a fixed size.
4. Build and download
Press Create PDF, then download the finished document with one image per page.

Rotate PDF
1. Load the PDF
Drop in the file. Pages appear as thumbnails so you can see which ones are sideways.
2. Select the pages
Tick the pages that need turning, or use Select all if the whole document is upside down.
3. Choose the angle
Rotate 90 degrees for a portrait page on its side, 180 for one that is upside down, or 270 for the other sideways direction.
4. Save the rotated copy
Press Rotate PDF and download. This changes the page permanently, so keep the original if you may need it the other way up.

Rearrange PDF
1. Open your document
Drop in the PDF and every page loads as a draggable thumbnail.
2. Drag pages into place
Grab a page and drop it where you want it. On a phone, use the move buttons on each card instead of dragging.
3. Check the first and last page
Front and back covers are the usual thing to get wrong. Scroll back to the top once before you continue.
4. Save the new order
Press Save PDF and download. Page sizes and content are untouched — only the sequence changes.
- Open tool
Organize PDF
Delete Pages
1. Load the PDF
Drop in your document and every page appears as a thumbnail with a checkbox.
2. Tick the pages to remove
Select every page you do not need. Blank separator pages and duplicate scans are the usual candidates.
3. Delete them
Press Delete Pages. The ticked pages are dropped and the remaining ones close up in order.
4. Download the shorter PDF
Give the new file a different name so it does not overwrite your source while it is still open.

Extract Pages
1. Choose your PDF
Drop in the document you want pages from.
2. Pick the pages to keep
Enter a range like 2-5, or tick individual thumbnails. This is the opposite of Delete Pages: you choose what stays.
3. Extract them
Press Extract Pages. The chosen pages are copied into a new document, keeping their original order and size.
4. Save the new file
Download the extracted document. Your original is not modified.

Add Page Numbers
1. Load the PDF
Drop in the document you want to number.
2. Choose the pages
Usually you want to skip the cover. Untick page 1, or any front matter you do not want numbered.
3. Set position, size and start
Pick bottom centre, bottom outside and similar positions. The starting number is useful when the document continues from an earlier part.
4. Apply and download
Press Add Page Numbers, then save the result. Check the first numbered page before distributing it.

Watermark PDF
1. Upload your PDF
Drop in the document you want to mark.
2. Type the watermark text
Enter something like DRAFT, CONFIDENTIAL or a date. Shorter words stay readable at large sizes; long ones have to shrink to fit.
3. Style it
Set the size, colour and angle. Around 30 degrees in a light grey is the usual choice because it stays legible without hiding the page.
4. Pick the pages and apply
Tick the pages to stamp, press Add Watermark, then download. This is a visual mark, not protection — it can be removed from the file.

Sign PDF
1. Open the document
Drop in the PDF that needs signing.
2. Draw your signature
Sign with a finger, stylus or mouse in the box. A short, confident signature works better than a long one — see how it looks before you place it.
3. Place it on a page
Pick the page and drag the signature into position. Resize it to about the height of the line you are signing above.
4. Flatten and download
Press Sign PDF. The signature becomes part of the page, so it can no longer be moved or deleted by a recipient.

AI Summarizer
1. Upload your PDF
Drop in the document you want shortened. Longer documents produce a more detailed summary.
2. Choose what to include
Pick key points, main topics, or the reading time estimate — or all three, depending on how much detail you need.
3. Generate the summary
Press Generate. The text of your PDF is sent to the AI provider to produce the summary, so check that you are comfortable with that before running it.
4. Read and copy
Review the result against the original, especially for figures and numbers, which are the part AI summaries most often get wrong.

AI Chat
1. Upload your PDF
Drop in the document you want to ask about. Scanned pages without a text layer will give weak answers.
2. Ask your question
Type it in plain language, the way you would ask a colleague. Questions about specific pages work best.
3. Read the answer against the page
Answers are drawn from your document, but the wording is generated. Check anything important against the original before you rely on it.
4. Keep asking
The conversation stays on this document, so follow-up questions work without re-uploading anything.

Multi-PDF AI Chat
1. Add up to five PDFs
Drop in two, three or five files. Every one you add is named on screen so you can see exactly what the answer will be drawn from. Scans need OCR first, and password-protected files will be refused with an explanation.
2. Start asking questions
Press Start asking questions to read the files, then type your question in plain language — or use one of the four suggested actions, which ask about every document at once.
3. Check the sources under each answer
Each answer is followed by the documents it came from, and a page number where one could be identified. Open that page before you rely on anything: the wording is generated even when the source is correct.
4. Follow up without re-uploading
The conversation stays on this set of documents, so you can narrow in with follow-up questions. Change documents starts over with a different set.

AI Quiz Generator
1. Upload a document
Use a PDF that covers material you actually want to be tested on — lecture notes, a chapter, a set of notes.
2. Choose the question types
Multiple choice is the quickest to mark, true/false checks understanding, and short answer tests recall more strictly.
3. Generate the quiz
Press Generate Quiz. The extracted text goes to the AI provider, which writes the questions against it.
4. Work through it
Take the quiz, then check your answers. Treat anything the AI marked wrong with suspicion before you revise from it.

AI Study Mode
1. Upload one document
A lecture, a chapter, a paper, a set of notes. This is one upload, not four — the summarizer, notes, quiz and flashcard pages all still exist separately if you only want one of them.
2. Pick a size and a difficulty
5, 10 or 20 questions or cards, and Easy, Medium or Hard. Ten is a reasonable default for a single sitting. If you are revising for an exam, Hard and 20 are worth the wait.
3. Work through the four tabs
Summary to know what you are dealing with, notes to revise from, questions to test yourself on, flashcards for quick recall. Each tab is generated by its own request, so “Generate” on an empty tab makes exactly what that tab needs rather than a thin slice of everything.
4. Check the explanations
Every question carries an explanation naming the part of the document it came from. That is the part worth using — it lets you confirm an answer instead of accepting it. If something is not in your document, that is a real failure worth noticing.

AI Tools
AI Notes Generator
1. Upload your PDF
Drop in a chapter, article or set of notes. Longer inputs give a more complete set of notes.
2. Set the depth
Short gives you the headline points, standard adds structure and detail, and detailed is for dense material you need properly summarised.
3. Build the notes
Press Generate Notes. The text of your document is sent to the AI provider to be turned into structured notes.
4. Edit before you rely on it
Check definitions and any figures against the source. Generated notes compress well but can lose nuance.

AI Tools
AI PDF Translator
1. Upload a PDF with readable text
The translator works on the text layer, which is extracted in your browser — not the file itself. Scanned or image-only pages have no text to work with and will fail.
2. Set both languages
Leave the source on auto-detect unless you know it, then choose your target from ten languages including Urdu, Arabic, Hindi and Chinese. The detected source is reported back with the result.
3. Generate the translation
Press Generate with AI. Only the extracted text goes to the AI provider, and long documents are processed in consecutive parts so translation runs past the opening pages.
4. Copy out the plain text
The result is one block of translated text, not a redesigned PDF: columns, images and fonts from the original are not carried over. Review idioms and technical terms before you rely on it.

AI Writing Assistant
1. Pick the document to rework
Upload a PDF whose text extracts cleanly. Only that extracted text is sent for rewriting — the original file itself stays in your browser and is never uploaded.
2. Choose a rewrite mode
Six modes cover the usual jobs: Rewrite professionally, Simplify, Make concise, Expand, Improve clarity, and Change tone. Pick the one that matches why the draft is not working yet.
3. Compare the two versions
The result panel shows your original extracted text next to the rewrite, so you can check line by line that the meaning survived. A short note explains what the rewrite changed.
4. Take what is useful and discard the rest
The output is generated text, so read it before pasting. Long documents are handled in sections and the pieces are joined together, which can leave seams worth smoothing.

AI Ask PDF
1. Load the document into the chat
Upload a PDF and press Prepare document chat. The text is extracted in your browser and loaded into a conversation that answers only from that document.
2. Start with a suggested question
Three prompts are offered for a fresh chat — what the document is about, its key points, and any important dates. Type your own once you know what you need.
3. Follow up without re-uploading
Each question carries the earlier conversation with it, so you can narrow down step by step. Long PDFs are read in consecutive sections, not just the first pages.
4. Check answers against the page
The chat is told to use no outside knowledge and to say plainly when an answer is not in the file. Where it does answer, confirm anything important against the original text.

AI PDF to Presentation
1. Upload the source material
Reports, lecture notes and white papers convert best because they already have headings to work from. Only the extracted text is sent to the AI provider; the PDF stays in your browser.
2. Generate the slide outline
Press Generate with AI and the document becomes between five and ten slides. Each one carries its own title, bullet points, key points and speaker notes drawn from the text.
3. Treat it as an outline, not a deck
What comes back is structured plain text — there is no PowerPoint file and nothing is formatted. Paste it into your own presentation software and apply your design.
4. Prune before you present
Slide count follows how much content was found, so a dense document produces dense slides. Cut anything the AI could not support from the source before speaking to it.
- Open tool
AI Tools
AI Flashcard Generator
1. Upload your study material
Choose the PDF you are revising from — notes, a textbook chapter, a set of slides. Cards are built from the extracted text, so scanned pages will not produce anything.
2. Decide how many you need
Choose 5, 10, 20 or 50 cards. If your document is long enough to be split into parts, the count is divided across those parts and the sets rejoined.
3. Flip through and copy
Cards appear one at a time — tap to reveal the answer, then use Previous and Next to move on. Copy all sends the whole deck to your clipboard at once.
4. Verify the facts
Each card carries the topic it came from, which helps when a deck drifts off-topic. Check answers against your source, especially dates, figures and definitions.

AI Citation Generator
1. Upload the document to cite
Use a PDF that contains its own title page, authorship and date. The tool reads metadata out of the text rather than inventing it, so a bare export will come back sparse.
2. Choose APA, MLA, Chicago or Harvard
The style you select is what the full reference is formatted in, and the in-text form is matched to it. Pick the one your department or journal actually requires.
3. Generate and inspect the fields
The result shows the finished citation, the in-text form, and a breakdown of the detected author, title, date and publisher — plus which fields could not be found.
4. Fill the gaps yourself
Missing details are listed rather than guessed, so nothing is silently invented. Look up the absent fields in the original source before you submit the reference.

AI Tools
AI Grammar & Writing Checker
1. Upload text that can be extracted
The checker needs a real text layer. A scanned contract or photographed page has none, and the tool reports that rather than inventing sentences to correct.
2. Run the review
Press Generate with AI and the extracted text is checked for grammar, spelling, punctuation and awkward phrasing. Only the text is sent — the PDF stays on your device.
3. Work through the issues list
Every issue names a category and quotes the original wording alongside a suggested fix and a short explanation. Counts for grammar, spelling and clarity appear above the list.
4. Read the corrected version alongside
The full cleaned-up text sits next to your original for comparison. Check that the tone and emphasis survived the rewrite before copying anything back.

AI Document Analyzer
1. Upload a document you want read closely
Reports, agreements and research papers give the most useful results. The original PDF is not uploaded; its extracted text is what the AI service receives.
2. Generate the analysis
The report comes back as a structured breakdown: document type, main topic, a written summary, key points, important dates, named entities, statistics, section names and keywords.
3. Scan the lists first
Dates, entities and statistics are the parts worth checking against the original, since they are easy to misattribute. They arrive as bulleted lists, so a quick scan catches most errors.
4. Remember what this is not
This describes your own document — it does not compare it against other sources and cannot detect copied content. For plagiarism, use a service built for that job.

AI Resume Analyzer
1. Upload your resume as a PDF
Leave out identification numbers, addresses and anything sensitive before you upload. The file stays in your browser; only its extracted text is sent when you run the analysis.
2. Optionally paste a job description
Adding the vacancy text switches on a comparison of strengths and gaps, plus keyword coverage against that posting. Leave it blank for a review of the resume on its own terms.
3. Generate the review
You get a structural read on the document: skills, experience and education lists, sections that are missing, notes on clarity and readability, and a set of concrete improvements.
4. Treat it as editing advice
This is not a hiring prediction and assigns no score or odds of an offer. Use the gaps and improvements to rewrite the resume, then read it yourself before sending it out.

AI PDF Question Generator
1. Upload the material to question
Pick a PDF that covers something you want tested on. Questions are written against the extracted text, so the file itself is never uploaded.
2. Set quantity, difficulty and format
Choose 5, 10, 20 or 50 questions, then pick Easy, Medium or Hard, and Multiple choice, True/False or Short answer. Longer documents split the count across sections and rejoin the results.
3. Generate the question set
Each question arrives with its options, an answer, and an explanation hidden behind a Show answer toggle. You can copy the whole set as JSON and edit it elsewhere.
4. Check every answer first
Nothing here is guaranteed correct — check each answer against the source before handing the questions to students. Wrong keys are the fastest way to lose trust in a quiz.

Crop PDF
1. Open the PDF
Drop in the file. This is usually a scan with wide white borders or a slightly crooked edge.
2. Pick the pages
Every page starts selected. Untick any you want to leave alone, such as a cover that is already the right size.
3. Choose a crop size
Select A4, US Letter, square or business card. The visible area is trimmed to that size and centred on the page.
4. Crop and download
Press Crop PDF and save. Cropping trims what is displayed — it does not shrink the file much, so use Compress PDF if size is the goal.

Change Page Size
1. Upload your PDF
Drop in the document whose pages need resizing.
2. Choose the new size
Pick A4, US Letter or Legal, then set portrait or landscape. Match the orientation of the page content or it will look sideways.
3. Apply the change
Press Change Page Size. Existing content is scaled to fit the new box rather than cropped, so nothing is lost.
4. Download and print a test
Save the file and print one page before a full run. Very dense pages can end up small at the new size.

Flatten PDF
1. Upload the form or annotated PDF
Drop in a file with fields, comments, annotations or sticky notes that you want to lock down.
2. Flatten it
Press Flatten PDF. Every form field, comment and annotation is drawn directly onto the page.
3. Check the result
Open the downloaded file. Fields should no longer be clickable and the text should look unchanged.
4. Use it safely
A flattened form is final, so fill it in carefully before flattening. You cannot edit the fields afterwards.

Grayscale PDF
1. Load your PDF
Drop in the document. This is aimed at printed documents rather than colour images you want to keep vivid.
2. Choose pages and quality
Tick the pages to convert and set the resolution. Higher quality looks cleaner on paper but produces a larger file.
3. Convert to black and white
Press Grayscale PDF. Colours become shades of grey, which is usually enough to read a text document.
4. Download for printing
A greyscale file costs far less to print and often comes out smaller. Check a photo page for banding before printing the whole run.

Remove PDF Metadata
1. Upload the PDF
Drop in a file you plan to send to someone else.
2. Review what will be removed
PDFs often carry the author name, the software that made them, the title, keywords and creation dates. None of it is needed by the person receiving the file.
3. Strip the details
Press Remove Metadata. The visible content is untouched — only the hidden properties are cleared.
4. Download the clean copy
Useful before uploading to a public form or sharing a draft that still carries your name in the properties.

Extract Text from PDF
1. Choose your PDF
Drop in the document you want the words from. This works on PDFs with selectable text.
2. Pick the pages
Run the whole document or just a section. Text-only pages convert fastest.
3. Extract the text
Press Extract Text. The words are pulled out in reading order, one line per row as they appear on the page.
4. Download the .txt file
Open it in any text editor. Scanned images have no text layer, so those come out empty — OCR is not part of this tool.

Insert Blank Page
1. Load your PDF
Drop in the document you want to add sheets to.
2. Choose where they go
Insert at the end for a spare back page, at the start for a cover, or after every page when you are printing double-sided and need the backs blank.
3. Set the size
Match the original pages unless you specifically want a different sheet size in the blank.
4. Insert and download
Press Insert Pages and save the result. Blank pages count towards your page total, so check the new count before printing.

Header and Footer
1. Choose the PDF
Drop in the document you want to label.
2. Type your line
A file name, a date, a document reference or a confidential marking all work well. Keep it short so it fits on a printed page.
3. Pick top or bottom
Headers sit above the content and footers below. Margins are respected, so the line will not overlap the page text.
4. Apply to every page
The line is stamped on every page. Press Add Header and Footer, then download.

Fill PDF Form
1. Upload the form
Drop in the PDF and the real form fields are read from the file. Text boxes, check boxes and radio buttons that were built in as actual form objects show up; drawn-on boxes do not.
2. Work through the detected fields
Each field appears with the name the PDF gave it, which is often something like given_name or address_2 rather than a human label. Type into the boxes and tick the check boxes and radios that apply.
3. Fill what the form asks for
Signature fields work only when they are genuine signature form objects. A signature line drawn on the page cannot be signed here, so print and sign that one by hand if it matters.
4. Submit the filled document
The values are written into the fields themselves, not typed over an image, so the result is a real filled PDF that other software can read back. Download it and keep it, as the page resets after each run.

Redact PDF
1. Open the document you want to share
Drop the PDF onto the page and a page preview appears in the tab. Every page can be viewed one at a time, so you can find the sensitive lines before drawing anything.
2. Drag a box over each sensitive detail
Click and drag across the text to cover it — a PAN number, an account number, a phone line, a signature. Zoom in first, and overshoot the ends of the string rather than stopping short of them.
3. Step through the remaining pages
Use the page controls to move on and keep covering anything identifying. Earlier boxes stay where you drew them, so you can build up a full set of marks across the document in one pass.
4. Apply the redaction and check the result
Press Redact PDF and each mark becomes an opaque black rectangle. Scroll back over the pages you marked to confirm nothing important is half-covered before you download the file.
5. Understand what the cover actually does
The rectangle hides content from view but does not remove it from the file. If a recipient pulls up the text layer, the words underneath can still be there, so treat this as a visual mask rather than a secure deletion.

Highlight PDF
1. Pick a highlight colour
Four swatches are offered: yellow, green, blue and pink. Yellow is the familiar one; blue or green help when a document already uses another mark, or when the highlight has to survive being printed in black and white.
2. Upload the document
Drop the PDF on and the page preview loads. You can zoom in before drawing so the highlight sits over the words rather than half over the line above.
3. Drag across the text to mark
Draw over a sentence or a clause and a mark is placed. This is a translucent overlay, so the text underneath stays readable and can still be searched and copied — the opposite of redacting.
4. Move through every page
The previous and next page buttons at the bottom of the canvas take you onward, and marks you have already placed stay exactly where you left them. Keep going until the document is marked.
5. Apply the highlights and download
Press the action button and you get standard PDF highlight content, which Acrobat, most readers and printers all display. Some tools that redraw pages from scratch, such as Slideshare exports, drop the overlay.

Embed File in PDF
1. Choose the host PDF
Pick the document the files will travel inside — an application, an invoice pack, a report with its data. This is the file you will send; the attachments never appear as pages in it.
2. Add up to five files
Use Browse files to select documents, spreadsheets, images, archives or text files. Anything already selected can be removed from the list before you build the PDF.
3. Embed them together
Press Embed Files and the attachments are packed into one copy of your PDF in a single pass. The file is assembled locally, so nothing is uploaded while it is built.
4. Tell the recipient where to look
Attachments open from the paperclip icon in the PDF reader, not from the page content. Say so in your email, since most people will not spot the icon on their own.
- Open tool

Add Bookmarks to PDF
1. Load a document that needs navigating
Bookmarks pay off on anything long enough to scroll — a report, a manual, a thesis. The tool reads the page count straight away so you know the range you are working with.
2. Name a page, then add it
Type the page number and the heading you want to see in the reader, then press Add. The title box clears itself so you can repeat the pair for the next section.
3. Work through your chapters
Keep going until every entry you want is listed; each one appears below with its page number. Anything added by mistake can be removed from the list before you apply.
4. Save the PDF with its outline
Press Add Bookmarks to write the outline into a copy of the file. Out-of-range page numbers are flagged before saving, so a mis-typed page will not slip through.
- Open tool
Convert
PDF to Markdown
1. Upload a PDF with real text
Drop the file on and the pages are listed. This reads the text layer, it does not recognise characters in pictures, so scanned pages will come out empty.
2. Tick the pages you need
Everything starts selected. Large documents are slow in the browser, so untick the sections you do not need and convert a few pages at a time if a long file stalls.
3. Convert and check for gaps
Press the convert button and you get a standard .md file. Pages with no text layer are listed in a comment at the end, which tells you exactly what is missing rather than leaving you to guess.
4. Expect headings to be inferred
A PDF records position, not meaning, so headings are guessed from short lines that do not end in punctuation. Clean reports convert well; magazine layouts with pull quotes and sidebars convert approximately.
5. Take the file somewhere useful
The output is plain .md that opens in any text editor and pastes cleanly into Obsidian, Notion, a blog editor or a static site generator, giving you clean text instead of a page of frozen layout.

Compare PDF
1. Upload the version you already have
Load the older document first; it is labelled Original so there is no confusion about which is which. A second drop area then appears underneath for the revised copy.
2. Add the newer document
Pick the revision you want to check it against, then press Compare PDFs. Both files are read in your browser and neither is uploaded to a server.
3. Read the change list
Lines only the original had are marked with a minus, lines only the new version has with a plus. Identical lines are left alone, so the output is a short list rather than the whole document.
4. Download the marked-up text
You get the comparison as a text file, plus counts of lines added, removed and unchanged. Use it to confirm a clause really changed rather than guessing from a side-by-side view.

Edit PDF
1. Upload your PDF
Choose a document and wait for its page previews to finish loading. Your file stays in this browser.
2. Choose an editing mode

3. Place edits on the page
Click to place text or an image. Click and drag to draw a highlight or freehand mark. Use the page controls or thumbnails to move through the document.
4. Review and apply

Repair PDF
1. Upload the file that will not open
Drop in a PDF that throws an error, opens blank, or refuses to load at all. If the file is fine, this returns your copy unchanged rather than making it worse.
2. Run the repair
Press the repair button and the broken cross-reference table and page structure are rebuilt, then every page that still parses is written back out into a clean new document.
3. Compare the page counts
The result panel shows how many pages survived against the size of the original. A page count that has dropped is the warning sign that part of the file was unreadable and had to be skipped.
4. Open the repaired copy everywhere
Download it and test it in a second reader or on your phone, not just the one that repaired it. A file that works in one reader and fails in another is usually still damaged further down.
5. Keep the original for a real fix
Repair recovers what it can; it cannot invent content. If pages are genuinely missing or an encrypted file will not open, you will need the source document, not a rebuilt copy of a broken one.

Protect PDF
1. Choose the PDF to encrypt
Drop the file onto the page. Nothing is read yet — you still get a chance to set passwords and permissions before the protection is written into the document.
2. Type the password that opens the file
This is the one someone must enter just to view the document, and the button stays disabled until it has at least one character. Use something long; AES-256 is only as strong as the password you choose.
3. Set an owner password as well
The second field is optional but worth filling. Without an owner password, a PDF utility can strip the permission flags without knowing anything, because nothing is guarding them.
4. Decide what an opener may do
Four presets are available: allow everything, allow printing, allow copying, or block printing, copying and editing together. These are deterrent flags rather than encryption, so they discourage casual reuse rather than protecting content.
5. Apply the password and verify it
Press the button and the result panel confirms AES-256 and the permission set. Open the downloaded file once and make sure you can still read it before sending it on — an unreadable attachment is an easy mistake.

Unlock PDF
1. Load the locked PDF
Upload the file that will not open normally. If it is already fine, there is nothing to do — a file without encryption passes straight through and comes back unchanged.
2. Enter the password it was set with
Type the password into the single field provided. A wrong password fails immediately and leaves the encrypted file exactly as it was, so you can try again without losing anything.
3. Remove the password and permission flags
Press the unlock button and the document is rewritten without its password. The owner password goes too, which means the restrictions on printing or copying come off along with it.
4. Check the freed copy opens cleanly
The result panel confirms the password was removed. Open the downloaded file in Acrobat or your phone's reader to be certain it opens with no prompt before you rely on it.
5. Know when unlocking is the wrong move
This only works on a file whose password you already know. It cannot recover a password you have forgotten, and using it on someone else's encrypted document without their permission is not a legal shortcut in most places.

OCR PDF
1. Upload the scan
Drop in a scanned PDF and the pages appear as thumbnails. A scan is a photograph of a document, so its words are visible to you but invisible to anything trying to search or copy them.
2. Tick the image-only pages
All pages are selected to begin with. Clear the tick on any page that already has a real text layer, because those are detected and passed through untouched rather than being read again.
3. Run the recognition
Choose English, Arabic, Hindi or Urdu, then press Make PDF Searchable. Text is read on your device and drawn back onto the page invisibly, lined up over the letters in the image, so the scan still looks exactly the same.
4. Read the confidence score
The result panel shows how many pages were read, how many already had text, and an overall confidence figure. Low confidence usually points to a small, blurry or skewed scan that is worth re-scanning at a higher resolution.
5. Test the output before relying on it
Open the result and use Ctrl+F to search for a word you know is on a page. Searching is the real proof: if the text layer landed correctly, matches will jump to the right spots.

Convert
Word to PDF
1. Add a .docx file
Upload a Word document in the modern .docx format, up to 50 MB. Older .doc files need saving to .docx in Word first, since the older format stores layout very differently.
2. Check which file is selected
Added documents appear in a list with a remove button. Only the first file is converted, so if several slipped in, remove the extras before pressing convert to avoid converting the wrong one.
3. Run the conversion
Press convert and the document is laid out into pages in the browser. Progress is shown as it goes, and the whole file is processed on your device rather than on a server.
4. Read the page and image counts
The result panel tells you how many pages came out and how many images were carried across. An unexpected page count is usually a wide table or a large image forcing an extra break.
5. Spot-check before sending it on
Download the PDF and open it. Page breaks are approximated from the Word flow, so footers, floating text boxes and columns are the places most likely to have shifted slightly.

TIFF to PDF
1. Choose a TIFF image
Upload a .tif or .tiff file. Multi-page TIFF files are supported, with each frame becoming a page.
2. Convert and download
Press Convert to PDF. Large or unusual TIFF encodings may exceed your device's available browser memory.

Text to PDF
1. Choose a plain-text file
Upload a UTF-8 .txt file. Empty files are rejected.
2. Create your PDF
The text is wrapped onto letter-sized pages. The built-in PDF font supports Latin characters; unsupported characters are reported rather than silently removed.

Convert
PDF to Word
1. Upload the PDF you need to edit
Drop the file onto the page and its pages are listed with thumbnails. Only pages with a genuine text layer convert well; a scanned page arrives as an empty shell.
2. Select the pages to convert
Every page starts ticked. Clear any you do not need, or untick a scanned page entirely so the result does not contain a blank-looking page with nothing in it.
3. Convert and wait for the document
Press the convert button and the layout is rebuilt as a .docx file. The result panel reports pages converted, how many headings were detected, and any pages that were skipped.
4. Expect to tidy up afterwards
A PDF records where each block of text sits, not what role it plays, so column order and paragraph breaks are approximations. Expect to fix spacing, and check any table that spanned a page break.
5. Reflow the document to taste
Download the .docx and open it in Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice. From there you can restyle headings properly, fix any misordered columns and export to PDF again if the layout needs tidying.

Convert
PDF to Excel
1. Upload the PDF holding the table
Drop the file onto the page. The tables are found by looking at where text sits in lines and columns, so a well-aligned table extracts almost perfectly and a jumbled one does not.
2. Choose the pages to pull from
Pages are listed with tick boxes. Include only the pages where the table actually sits, since a page with two separate tables will produce two separate sheets.
3. Run the extraction
Press convert and each detected table becomes its own worksheet in a .xlsx workbook. The result panel shows how many tables were found, the longest and widest of them, and how many pages had no text at all.
4. Understand what a row means
Header rows are carried through as the first row of cells, but totals lines and merged cells sometimes arrive as ordinary data. Check the column count against the sheet before doing anything with the numbers.
5. Do the maths in Excel, not here
Download the workbook and use it like any other spreadsheet file. Formulas, sorting and pivot tables all work normally, which is the whole point of getting the numbers out of the PDF in the first place.

Convert
Excel to PDF
1. Upload the workbook
Choose an .xlsx or .xls file. The sheet names are read from the workbook itself, so you will see the real tabs listed rather than guessing at how the file is organised.
2. Pick which sheets to include
All sheets is the default and every one starts on a fresh page. First sheet only is useful when the rest are working tabs you never meant to hand over.
3. Set the page orientation
Landscape suits wide tables with many columns; portrait suits tall, narrow sheets with few columns and lots of rows. Picking the wrong one is the usual reason columns get cut off.
4. Decide how columns are handled
Fit to page squeezes every column so nothing is clipped, which shrinks the text on very wide sheets. As it is keeps your original column widths and lets the sheet overflow or split instead.
5. Convert and check the row count
Press convert and the result panel reports sheets, pages and rows drawn. Compare that row count against your sheet — a much lower number means empty trailing rows were trimmed.

Convert
PDF to PNG
1. Upload the PDF
Drop the file on and the page count is read straight away. If the PDF will not open at all, or is password protected, the page tells you so rather than failing silently.
2. Specify which pages to render
The range field defaults to every page, and accepts something like 1-4 or 1,3,7 for a scattered selection. Only the pages you ask for are drawn, which saves a lot of time on a long document.
3. Choose a resolution
High resolution doubles the scale and is worth it for cropping or printing; Balanced is sharp on screen at a sensible file size; Lightweight is for quick sharing. Larger always means a much bigger PNG.
4. Run the conversion
Press convert and each selected page comes back as a separate PNG. A single page downloads as one file; several pages arrive together in a zip.
5. Know what you get
The background is drawn white, exactly as the page looks when you open it, so the PNG is not transparent. Lossless PNG also means a page is usually several times larger than the same page exported as a JPG.

Image to Text
1. Add up to 30 images
Drop in photos, screenshots or scans together in one go. All of them are read in a single run and end up in one text file, in the order they were added.
2. Choose the output format
Plain text gives you just the words with nothing else. Markdown wraps each image in its own heading, which is the one to pick if you photographed several pages and need to tell them apart later.
3. Choose language and image cleanup
Select English, Arabic, Hindi or Urdu. If the photo is faint or uneven, enable Improve scan contrast to grayscale and normalize it before reading; the source photo remains unchanged.
4. Run the recognition
Press convert and the text is read on your device. The result panel reports images read, word and character counts, and the recogniser's own confidence score for the run.
5. Treat low confidence as a warning
A clean, straight, evenly lit shot of typed text scores high and is usually accurate. Anything lower deserves a check before you trust it — one wrong digit in an invoice total matters more than the effort to verify it.
6. Help the recogniser with tricky pages
An angled photo turns every letter into a slightly different shape, and a two-column page may be read across rather than down. Shoot straight-on, or split a column into its own image and run it separately.
